As a Full Stack Java Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting Java based external facing application and working with different teams within the company on enhancements, production support and documentation.
As a Full Stack Java Developer on this Global Technology-PGIM Systems team, you will partner with end users, product owners, and QA team on challenging assignments using Agile methodology and work with state-of-the-art technologies.
Responsibilities will include daily stand-ups, technical meetings with QA and product owners, development, unit testing, presentations, training, etc.

Primary Responsibilities: • Work closely with product owner to understand business requirements and transform them into testable components • Employ industry best practices to deliver world-class solutions.
Ensure developed solutions remain compliant with all applicable Prudential standards • Drive software development activities to meet schedules and timelines • Research problems discovered by quality assurance or product support with a strong sense of ownership and develop solutions to address the problems • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and how they can be applied to Prudential • Enable change, help accelerate innovation • Demonstrating experience with taking intelligent risks and leveraging a ‘test and learn’ mentality • Committed to a spirit of authentic partnership – to colleagues both internal and external to the organization • Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality • Support Batch processes written in Java, Python, Unix Script Qualifications: • 3-5 years’ experience in Java/J2EE, Eclipse, WAS, Liberty • Good understanding of relational database concepts (SQL Server, DB2) • In-depth knowledge of MS-Excel • Knowledgeable in Python, PowerShell, Unix Scripting.
