Salary Range: $ 79,800 - $ 131,700 Incentive: PIP 10% Work Location Category: Remote Local PSEG operates under a Flexible Work Model where flexible work is offered when job requirements allow.

Job Summary Responsible for assisting the Manager NERC Compliance with reviews and submittals to NERC and Regional Organizations ensuring data is comprehensive, complete, and submitted on schedule to meet critical turnaround times and all regulatory requirements.
Non-compliance with NERC standards potentially exposes the company to significant monetary penalties.
Responsible for assisting the Manager NERC Compliance with reviews and submittals to NERC and Regional Organizations ensuring data is comprehensive, complete, and submitted on schedule to meet critical turnaround times and all regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities Accountable for meeting critical NERC reporting deadlines and assisting the Manager of NERC Compliance in understanding regulatory requirements.
Responsible for compiling and maintaining NERC compliance documents, performing assessments and analyses, and follow-up with PSEG subject matter experts (SMEs).
Accountable for working with the SMEs to create the necessary plans for audit preparation and NERC mitigation activities.
Assemble professional level documentation packages for submittal as compliance evidence for self-certifications with support from applicable SMEs; maintaining documentation for NERC submissions filed on behalf of LOBs.
Apply NERC expertise in supporting LOB initiatives.
Accountable for assisting the Manager in guiding the LOB clients to ensure proper design requirements with regard to NERC regulations.
Responsible for working collaboratively with PSEG SMEs to promote the NERC standard development processes that support the interests of the company.
The Compliance Specialist must interface with a variety of personnel and departments at all levels.
Job Specific Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree 5 years of experience in IT, Engineering, Regulatory Compliance, or similar field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Candidate must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity.
Successful candidate must demonstrate and value differences in others' strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices.
Required Competencies: Candidate must possess planning and organizing demonstrated skills and abilities, which include good time management and prioritization skills.

Must have demonstrated attention to detail skill sets, be results oriented; and be able to work concurrently with multiple deadlines and deliverables.
Excellent written and oral communication skills (e.
g.
preparation of legal or regulatory reports) Ability to build strong relationships with PSEG internal stakeholders.
Strong negotiation and influencing skill sets.
Good general project management skills.
Desired Qualifications: Advanced Degree Utility Transmission and Distribution experience Power Generation experience Project management experience Experience with Adobe Professional Knowledge of NERC Standards and Compliance Knowledge of Federal regulations with regard to electric reliability standards, NERC and the NERC Regional Entities and related industry organizations, NERC reliability standards, or similar experience with monitoring and reporting on regulatory mandated processes Minimum Years of Experience 5 years of experience Education Bachelor in Data Needed Certifications None Noted Disclaimer Certain positions at the Company may require you to have access to Part 810-Controlled Information.
