GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Coordinates quality auditing of files to ensure the integrity of the agency’s services.
Responsible for ensuring the quality and delivery of health and allied services to members as well as staff’s adherence to policy and procedure at various CAU programs.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in health services or a related field.
Minimum one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and /or at-risk youth.
JOB TASKS
1.
Designs, schedules and conducts sample quality review audits for multiple programs within CAU, which will also include trend tracking and follow up tracking/emails to ensure programs are utilizing info and correcting matters found.
2.
Completes PSR fidelity checks bi-weekly through a rotating list of DD/TOP etc programs and emails them accordingly.
3.
Handles the auditing of the CareLogic, etc.
database systems to ensure updated member information is present.
4.
Assists programs with guidance for correcting their citations or procuring the items needed to correct the recommendations.
5.
Assists with preparing the sites for licensing annually and the main office/sites with CARF as assigned.
6.
Identify trends and suggests/makes quality improvements to better the programs/members’ lives.
7.
Attends & participates in various committee meetings, trainings and in supervisions.
May also handle all aspects of one internal committee meetings as assigned- agenda prep, take meeting minutes, follow up as needed.
8.
Monitors and formats various policies, procedures, systems and forms as needed by Community Access Unlimited.
9.
May assist with Investigations such as gathering statements, gathering of documentation needed, etc.
As needed.
10.
Participate in outside trainings/meetings as needed for further CAU’s understanding of the State’s/DDD’s regulations and expectations.
11.
Prepares reports on quality findings, interprets data and makes recommendations to program supervisors for upgrading and maintaining quality at the sites.
12.
Will put together a monthly report due by the 5th of each month summarizing the months’ progress.
13.
Ensures compliance with all required state and federally mandated background and exclusion checks including but not limited to criminal history background investigation (fingerprinting), Central Registry, Child Abuse Record Information (CARI), and motor vehicle checks.
14.
Performs miscellaneous QA job duties as assigned.
SHIFT: Weekdays with occasional evenings and weekends as needed
