Broadridge is hiring! We’re seeking a QA Analyst to join Broadridge’s Wealth Aggregation and Insights Team! This position will involve working with both product and development teams to help lead, author, coordinate, execute and complete complex test plans for both internal and external projects.
Responsibilities: Assist in testing various applications throughout the life cycle of each code release.
This would include, but not limited to, testing Broadridge’s Wealth Aggregation and Insights Practice management tools, financial reports, API’s & ETL processes.
Aid in the design of detailed test plans that are specifically linked to defined business requirements ensuring coverage of all relevant business and system functionality.
Ensure test plans and the testing results are auditable & traceable, easily located for future use, and meet quality assurance standards.
Act as liaison between development and UAT phases to ensure proper hand off documentation meets all necessary deployment instructions, as well as ensuring defects/issues are clarified, understood and resolved.
Analyze and communicate test results to product owner and other stakeholders.
Maintain and distribute defect reports.
Analyze, design, and document new or modified QA procedures and standards and assist in the development and implementation of QA metrics for assessing the quality of delivered applications.
Manage risks and issues and take corrective measurements with the appropriate sense of urgency.
Deliver accurate effort estimates for work you're leading and adhere to strict project milestones.
Daily management of duties throughout the agile project life cycle and provide proactive updates to project leads.
Qualifications 5+ years of software quality assurance testing, programming or system support experience is required.
5+ years of Financial/Brokerage Services Industry experience is preferred Experience and understanding of financial transaction codes and their impact on financial positions and balances preferred.
Excellent oral and written communications skills are a must.
Ability to understand new concepts and ramp up on new technologies quickly.
Ability to work under pressure and be highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and manage time appropriately.
Knowledge of SaaS applications and Microsoft SQL Server is a must.
Proficient in Microsoft SQL queries to research, analyze and troubleshoot data.
Previous experience with automation testing using Selenium and Jenkins in DevOps is preferred.
Previous experience with Atlassian’s Jira & Confluence products is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent discipline Must be able to effectively work in a fully remote work environment.
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $85,000 - $100,000.
