Optical Sales in Staten Island 18 to 24 per hour plus commission

Job Title: Optical Salesperson Location: Staten Island Salary Range: $18 - $22 per hour per hour plus commission (Salary may vary based on experience) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Optical Salesperson to join our team in Staten Island.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, customer service, and optical care.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling glasses and other optical products, and managing insurance and billing processes.
Responsibilities: - Assist customers in choosing frames, lenses, and other optical products - Conduct fittings and adjustments to ensure proper fit and comfort - Provide accurate pricing information and process payments - Manage insurance and billing processes, including verifying coverage and submitting claims - Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to promote loyalty and retention - Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas - Keep up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge - Assist with store maintenance, including inventory management and merchandising Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree is a plus) - Proven track record of success in sales and customer service - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Familiarity with insurance and billing processes - Experience in fitting and adjusting glasses is a plus - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays - Must be authorized to work in the United States If you have a passion for optical care and a proven track record in sales and customer service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
