About the role
Our Territory Sales Manager will help increase sales revenues and maintain customer relationships within an assigned geographical area.
In this role, outstanding organizational and sales skills are needed as well as an excellent communicator who understands customer needs.
Responsibilities
Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies to build the business within the territory
Analyze data to find the most efficient sales methods
Targeting potential customers and assessing opportunities for sales
Analyzing competitor activities in the region and assessing opportunities for business development
Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
Discover sales opportunities through consumer research
Present products and services to prospective customers
Participate in industry or promotional events (e.
g.
trade shows) to network with businesses in the territory and cultivate customer relationships
Conduct training in sales techniques and company product attributes
Assess sales performance
Chase sales leads from other members of the business
Keep up to date with industry news to identify opportunities for new business
Prepare and submit reports to the VP of sales
About you
Proven experience as a Territory Sales Manager
Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred
Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
Organizational and leadership ability
Problem-solving aptitude
Excellent presentation skills (development and delivery)
Effective team player with ability to build and maintain positive relationships
