Growing and established Insurance Agency is seeking an experienced sales professional to join our Property and Casualty Commercial Insurance sales team.
We recently expanded to a second location in Holmdel, NJ.
The Agency is a 4th generation family owned and run business with strong ties to our local community.
*Qualifications:* · Highly driven and performing salesperson.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Ability to apply market insights to identify and cultivate new clients.
· Prior sales experience with a demonstrated ability to establish strong relationships.
Experience in an insurance sales representative role is preferred.
· Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the customer’s needs.
· Possesses excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
· Possesses well-developed persuasion and negotiation skills.
· Possesses effective time management and organizational skills.
· Knowledge of insurance coverage and familiarity with carrier underwriting guidelines.
· Ability to find, build and grow leads and customer base.
· High School Degree or better.
College preferred.
· Must be highly motivated and a hard worker.
· Possesses a New Jersey Property and Casualty license in good standing or willing to obtain a Property and Casualty license prior to starting work.
*Compensation:* Commission based salary with generous commission splits – earnings potential is unlimited.
*Responsibilities include:* · Identifying and qualifying sales leads generated from various sources (e.
g.
, marketing programs, lead databases, existing customers, networking, etc….
).
· Developing long term relationships with clients, company representatives and underwriters.
· Contacting and qualifying prospective clients and explaining features and merits of policies offered, recommending amount and type of coverage based on analysis of prospect's circumstances.
Serving as the lead point of contact from initial outreach through the completion of the sales process.
· Assisting Service Team with paperwork and follow-up as necessary.
· Tracking and following up with prospects.
· Expediting the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $40,000.
