SUMMER INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW At Allied Beverage Group, we believe in continuing our legacy through attracting, developing, and retaining our talent for long-term careers filled with fun and diverse experiences.
We are excited that our 2024 Summer Internship program will be in-person at our beautiful Elizabeth, New Jersey facility.
Through ABG’s paid summer internship, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience as a valuable contributor to your department’s projects and deliverables.
You will also connect with ABG team members in other departments, and complete ABG’s Summer Internship Talent Development Program, sponsored by the Department of Learning & Development.
Responsibilities: Sales Intern Responsibilities: Participate in and conduct FSM and sales rep work withs each week throughout the summer.
Spend time in the field to observe, learn, share best practices, track results, and make process recommendations for new FSM 2024 ways of working will be where the intern spends majority of time Manage and serve as lead for coordination, documentation and support of 2024 FSM - Sales rep summer WORK WITH field execution Help develop support materials, share best practices, identify opportunities and conclude program with key field accomplishments from work with process Summarize business results and present business impact summary at completion of program of new sales field process Sales Intern Tasks: Blitz the marketplace with FSM’s and sales reps to drive monthly KPI’s Work with VP of Sales as well as their directors to support the new 2024 FSM field process Identify opportunities and best practices as it relates to new sales field process execution Recap work with results, share supplier business opportunities and complete a SWOT analysis based on ABG vs.
competitor execution in field Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS Must be A current undergraduate or graduate Junior, Senior, or graduate student preferred Able to reliably commute to our campus in Elizabeth, New Jersey Able to work from 8:30am - 5pm EST beginning June 3rd, 2024.
This paid 8-week internship is a 4-day, 30-hour work week.
The actual work schedule will be determined by the hiring manager Able to legally work in the United States Adept at Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Adept at Microsoft Teams, WebEx and Zoom conferencing software.
Possesses: A professional demeanor Strong written and verbal communications skills A positive, can-do attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Wine & spirits retail or hospitality experiences is a plus Cumulative GPA of 3.
0 or higher is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Fluency in English is required for the internship program.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT/WORK ENVIRONMENT Standard office work environment.
