SUMMER INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW
At Allied Beverage Group, we believe in continuing our legacy through attracting, developing, and retaining our talent for long-term careers filled with fun and diverse experiences.
We are excited that our 2024 Summer Internship program will be in-person at our beautiful Elizabeth, New Jersey facility.
Through ABG’s paid summer internship, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience as a valuable contributor to your department’s projects and deliverables.
You will also connect with ABG team members in other departments, and complete ABG’s Summer Internship Talent Development Program, sponsored by the Department of Learning & Development.
Responsibilities:
Trade Marketing Intern Responsibilities:
On Site event coordination and recaps
On/Off Premise Sampling and Activation Spot Check
Supplier Proposal and Activation Calls
Contribute to Social Media Content
Supplier Billing Process
POS development and Coordination
On Premise and Off Premise Trade Marketing Program Development
Trade Marketing Intern Tasks:
Recap Retail Programs with Profit and ROI evaluation
Track monthly sampling programs.
Work with Director of Trade Marketing to coordinate on-site at festivals
Social Media On Site Engagement
On Premise Kit Development
Create Activation Kits for Summer Festivals inclusive of campaign, POS and Giveaways
Spot Check Retail Activation Programs and Sampling
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Must be A current undergraduate or graduate
Junior, Senior, or graduate student preferred
Able to reliably commute to our campus in Elizabeth, New Jersey
Able to work from 8:30am - 5pm EST beginning June 3rd, 2024.
This paid 8-week internship is a 4-day, 30-hour work week.
The actual work schedule will be determined by the hiring manager
Able to legally work in the United States
Adept at Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Adept at Microsoft Teams, WebEx and Zoom conferencing software.
Possesses:
A professional demeanor
Strong written and verbal communications skills
A positive, can-do attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Wine & spirits retail or hospitality experiences is a plus
Cumulative GPA of 3.
0 or higher is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Fluency in English is required for the internship program.
