Job Role
The Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving revenue for the company.
Responsibilities include identifying potential clients, building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and promoting our logistics services across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Prospecting: Identify potential clients through market research, networking, cold calling, and lead dialing.
* Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
* Sales Presentations: Conduct sales presentations and product demos to prospective clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our logistics services.
* Custom Solutions: Understand specific client needs and develop customized logistics solutions accordingly.
* Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients to ensure profitability for the company.
* Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments like operations, customer service, and finance to guarantee seamless service delivery and issue resolution.
* Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
* Reporting: Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documentation to management.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
* Previous experience in sales, particularly in the logistics or transportation industry, is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with logistics operations and understanding of supply chain processes.
Job Skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
* Capability to understand and meet client's specific logistics needs.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment
* The role primarily involves extended periods of sitting and computer work.
