Position Title: Marketing Manager Reports to: Sr Marketing Director Dept/Function: Marketing Summary The Marketing Manager is part of the marketing team and plays a crucial role in shaping our brand and product strategy and execution.
Responsible for developing and implementing marketing programs crafted to drive awareness and increase sales.
Details Brand Strategy and execution: support the marketing team by gathering critical information about consumers, markets, and trends to drive the development of winning strategies that will set Catchmaster's brand apart from the competition.
Research and identify marketing opportunities from analyzing market trends, competitor reviews, sales data etc.
Research and identify gaps vs competitors in the market.
Play an active role in the implementation of brand strategies across various marketing channels and touchpoints.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives in line with the established brand strategy.
Agency Management: support the project execution with external agencies.
Collaborate with external marketing and advertising agencies to execute various projects, including catalogs, brand guidelines, campaigns, packaging changes, and other brand-related initiatives.
Work closely with the Senior Marketing Director to identify project needs, objectives, and timelines for agency execution.
Assist in developing project briefs and creative directions to guide the agencies in their deliverables.
Provide agencies with comprehensive product and brand information, including key product features, target audience insights, competitive positioning, and brand guidelines.
Ensure agencies have access to accurate and up-to-date information to align their work with Catchmaster's brand strategy.
Product and category strategy: support the development of winning category strategies for Catchmaster on its channels.
Conduct research and analysis of the pest control market, category trends.
Conduct research about consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Analyze pricing strategies for products within each category, taking into account market dynamics and competitor pricing.
Create product comparison vs competitors.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a successful execution of the product/category strategies in the market.
Support the New Product development process.
Advertising: manage the advertising budget and ensure timely delivery of assets to magazines and key clients.
Maintain the marketing calendar; Create briefings and copies; Collaborate with internal teams to align and approve creative content Work closely with the creative team to deliver high-quality assets that effectively promote Catchmaster's brand and products.
Skills/ Competencies/ Qualifications Demonstrated experience in brand management, product marketing, or category strategy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in collaborating with and managing external agencies.
Creative thinking and the ability to contribute fresh ideas to marketing initiatives.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify market opportunities and formulate effective category plans.
Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
High degree of collaboration & teamwork.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-focused.
Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools will be a plus.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or product marketing.
Consumer goods (CPG) previous experience is a plus AP&G Co.
