General Description: Responsible for driving continuous revenue growth for assigned Program.
Manage the sales producers in assigned Program while responsible for achieving team sales and budget goals.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for full-cycle management and development of Programs producers.
Provide leadership and coaching to staff to generate revenue and meet sales goals.
• Execute weekly Engagement Day meetings and training sessions.
• Drive behaviors to ensure that staff is working to meet revenue growth targets.
Includes prospecting, generating first appointments, and closing new business opportunities.
• Partner with the internal recruiting team to source, screen, hire, and onboard new producers.
• Develop a deep understanding of programs.
Develop sales strategies to differentiate the programs from standard market competitors.
• Create positive collaborative relationships with Program Managers across business lines.
• Ensure producers are completing all requirements of the New Producer Expectation Form.
• In conjunction with the local CRM Champion, facilitate prospects to producers.
Key Performance Metrics:
• Hire producers on a quarterly basis to achieve annual hiring targets.
• Generate $50,000 median new business per producer over 12 months in production.
• Execution of best practices (Huddles, GPACK).
• New producers should be capable of generating new revenue that exceeds $100k per year on an annualized basis.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• 5-8 years of Property and Casualty brokerage sales experience in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in selling multiple lines of coverage.
• Insurance designations such as CIC and ARM strongly preferred.
• Must be driven to motivate others to achieve sales goals.
• Ability to coach/mentor in concert with recruiting and hiring sales producers.
• Excited about and familiar with a cross-sell approach.
Proactive sales management and tracking.
Selling coverage and services as opposed to price.
• Ability to win the confidence of other Program Managers and producers.
Strong technical ability, presentation style, and sophistication.
