Manager Passenger Services classification includes the following coordinates and controls the airport service(s) function guaranteeing compliance with Company standards and contractual agreements; assists in monthly billing procedures, ensures that budget and manning requirements are maintained; meets and maintains communication with customer(s); responsible for monthly reports.
Proactively monitors the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standards.
Ensures they administer practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors and other third parties are treated with respect.
The scope of the job includes managing the SAS account (Scandinavian Airlines) in both JFK and EWR airports, workload and focus may vary based on operational priorities.
*Job Requirements*
Bachelor's degree (B.
A.
) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
*Essential Job Functions*
The Account Manager will be responsible for all activity supported by the (customer) account.
Complete knowledge of international passenger services handling is required.
Additional responsibilities include training of passenger service personnel, recurrent training of personnel and liaison with customers.
Participation in station projects required.
Night and weekend work as needed.
· Ability to speak/write and be understood by peers, internal and external customers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and clients.
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
· Handle multiple projects concurrently and simultaneously.
Cognitive skills to use independent judgment.
· Manage/control staff scheduling, assignment, reporting and absences.
Control staff overtime and compensation.
Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
· Ability to assemble and conduct training classes.
Promote, develop and train personnel.
· Familiarity with airline security guidelines.
Attends internal meetings.
· Maintains good relations with customers and airport authorities.
· Ability to work under pressure and ability to lift 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.
